LANGKAWI DUTY FREE DEPARTURES STORE AWARDED BEST IN CATAGORY
January 2020, Congratulations to our good friends at Pemborong Bumihijau Duty Free for being Awarded Best in Product Category (Leisure & Others) from MAHB late last year for their liquor & tobacco departures store at Langkawi International Airport – Design by SPARK
This store was also nominated as a finalists in 2019’s DFNI-Frontier Asia Pacific Awards for ‘New Shop Opening of the Year’.
The store was planned and conceptualised to deliver an optimised ‘land-side’ shopping experience which is quite different to ‘air-side’ as-well as creating a ‘sense of place’ by taking inspiration from local crafts and materials.

Honey-pot promotional spaces were used to create exciting and relevant promotions utilising digital panels and solid specifically provided for ‘sticker wraps’
